Policies
What is your guarantee?
Company will honor returns to its Returns Center for up to 7 days
from the original shipment date during which time customer can return a gift
for any reason. We do not allow returns on bulk orders.
How do I handle a return for full credit?
All returns must be sent to "Returns Center, 15700 W. 6th
Avenue, Golden, Colorado 80401" at the customer's expense. Return
the unused portion of the product with the original packing slip in the
original package.
How long does it take to receive a Return credit?
A return credit for product cost (less shipping of replacement
product) will be issued within 15 days of receipt in the Returns Center
to the credit card or PayPal Account used for the original purchase.
When might I be charged for a Return?
For Returns caused by delivery attempts to bad addresses, that
are refused by the recipient or that are undeliverable for any reason other
than errors clearly attributed to Company, there will be a $20.00 minimum
charge per order deducted from the refund credit to be issued to Merchant.
Hospital Deliveries
HouseCallGiftBaskets.com discourages against and will not guarantee the
shipment of any of our gifts to hospitals. Generally speaking, hospitals
have a general receiving area for packages and then disburse said packages
to their desired destinations which may cause delays and/or lost packages.
HouseCallGiftBaskets.com recommends that gifts be sent to the patient’s
home. If for some reason you elect to ship any of our products to a hospital,
we assume no responsibility for the loss, damage or misplacement of products.
There are no refunds for gifts sent to hospitals.
Incorrect Delivery Address
HouseCallGiftBaskets.com cannot guarantee delivery if the postal code
provided and/or apartment number is incomplete or incorrect. Please
insure that the delivery address provided is correct and complete and
supply a telephone number if possible. Regrettably, we are charged,
by our shippers, a re-delivery fee if the delivery address is incorrect
and must pass the fee to you the customer. Finally, there will be a
$20.00 restocking fee for all packages returned to HouseCallGiftBaskets.com
because of a wrong address supplied by the customer.
Delays Due to Weather
Many/most of our carriers will not honor any guarantees if your parcel
is delayed, damaged or not delivered due to weather conditions and/or
acts of God. In turn, since HouseCallGiftBaskets.com has no control
over weather conditions, we also cannot offer any guarantees for package
delays, due to weather. However, we do everything within our control
to insure that your package arrives safely and securely.
Warm Weather Shipping Policies
Baskets and/or gifts containing chocolate, perishable items, lotions
and/or like products need special handling during the months of April
through September, or when the weather is warm where your order is
being shipped. To assure that you’re ordered item(s) arrive in
good condition select ‘Next Day’ or ‘Second Day’ delivery
in the shipping options. Warm weather conditions may occur at any time;
ship accordingly. We do not guarantee items that are damaged due to
any weather conditions.

Substitutions
HouseCallGiftBaskets.com will use its best efforts to supply products as represented
on the HouseCallGiftBaskets.com website. However, we will occasionally substitute
ingredients, packing materials, containers, decorations when necessary to fill
an order. If necessary, we reserve the right to substitute items of equal or
greater value to assure that your gift arrives on time.
Alcohol Shipping Restrictions
Due to local ordiances, our gift baskets containing alcohol may not be shipped
to the following states: CO, FL, GA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MD, MA, MS, NE, NY, ND,
OK, PA, SD and TN. You will not be allowed to process an order for alcohol shipment
to these states. A signature will be required on all packages containing alcohol.
Shipping Cut-Off Time
If your order is placed before 12:00 pm EST on a Business Day (Monday through
Friday, excluding holidays) we ship the same day 99.9% of the time.
Delivery Date Guarantee
No delivery date is guaranteed unless Next Day or 2nd Day shipment method is
chosen and paid for. However, we will use our best efforts to deliver on
or near the 'Expected Delivery Date' at the time of order for all shipping
methods unless unforeseen circumstances, such as an act of god, impedes delivery.
We “do not” guarantee shipments to hospitals and/or wrong addresses.
Shipping Refunds
HouseCallGiftBaskets.com puts forth every effort to make certain that your
order arrives at its destination in a timely manner. If the gift you ordered
arrives late due to one of our carriers, FedEx, UPS, USPS or DHL, please email
or call HouseCallGiftBaskets.com immediately and we will make a claim with
the proper carrier and after resolution we will credit shipping charges to
your account. This applies to ‘Guaranteed Deliveries’ and items ‘Lost
In Transit’ only and does not apply to products shipped Ground or USPS
and does not apply to bulk orders which take much more time and resources to
create and ship. |
